If you're like me, you struggle with perfectionism. Bad. Like I won't start a project even if I want to do it because I don't want to mess it up. You know the feeling- everything has to be *just right* or what's the point? If you're not trying your best, then you're just embarrassing yourself, right?
But my therapist I'm just a human being trying to live my life. By definition a human cannot be perfect- you and I are bound to make mistakes. And not everyone is going to like you (or me). It is quite literally impossible to be perfect, so quit being so hard on yourself! Just be you. That is enough.
