1. What does My Therapist Said offer?

First and foremost, we offer a loving and supportive community that serves as a safe space for all of those who are on their mental health journeys. We have a variety of sustainable apparel and accessories that are meant to inspire mindfulness and minimize environmental impact, ranging from super soft hoodies to business casual blouses to waterproof stickers. We also offer continuing support to the mental health community by donating a portion of our profits to charity, providing free resources on our website, and participating in advocacy causes.

2. What is your mission?

Our mission is to promote positive thinking and destigmatize talking about mental health through ethical apparel. We want  to empower individuals on their mental health journeys while trying to reduce harm to the planet and its people. 

3. What makes you a "sustainable" apparel company?

Eco-friendly materials. Most of our apparel is made with either organic cotton or recycled polyester. All of our accessories are eco-friendly, too - check the details on each product page to see its materials. And we don't stop there: all of our packaging is made with recycled and recyclable materials, and many of them are compostable!

Ethical practices. Where sourcing recycled fabric would be extremely difficult for certain product styles, we make sure to work with suppliers who comply with the  2010 California Transparency in Supply Chains Act, in which companies are required to disclose their efforts to eradicate slavery and human trafficking from their supply chain. Such suppliers operate under a set of principles based on labor standards of the International Labor Organization which covers forced labor, child labor, harassment or abuse, discrimination, wages, freedom of association, among others covering risks associated with trafficking and slavery of workers. Certain factories are also independently monitored by the Fair Labor Association.

Reduced waste. To reduce waste, our products are either printed on demand or re-stocked in limited quantities. This may result in a slight delay in processing time, but it helps us minimize excess inventory and unsold products, contributing to environmental protection.

4. Do you really donate to charity?

Yes! Once per fiscal quarter, we donate 10% of profits to charities/non-profits that help make therapy affordable. Our current non-profit selection is Rise Above the Disorder (RAD).

1. What is your return, refund, and exchange policy?

Since each item is made especially for you, we do not accept returns or exchanges at this time. However, we stand behind the quality of our products and are dedicated to ensuring your order meets our highest standards. If you have concerns about your order, please contact us via the chat box in the lower left corner. Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

2. Where do you ship, and what are the shipping times?

We are based in the United States and ship internationally. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. For processing, shipping, and delivery, please allow up to 2 weeks for US orders and 3 weeks for international orders.
